God's pure way "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." As the forest slowly seeps into night Shadows gently flow across in gentle creep Birds return to safe nests and hide from sight And darkness falls into a quiet sleep. Moon and stars come out from hiding somewhere Sunshine disappears, darkness rules the night I look up high, see stars are ev'rywhere My soul leaps forth, up, up into their light. And then I hear some crickets singing loud A frog rivets on a dark bank somewhere Nature's music flows, 'lieu of daylight crowds Nocturnal beasts awaken here and there. Silence sings of peace; nature feels release As I swing naked on my big oak tree Looking at stars in the sky feeling peace For nothing of man's tight bondage I see. And ev'rything is pure in God's own way Here in my forest at night when I play. God's pure way. Newell darling boy OH MY This is simply stunning writing, utterly utterly stunning. How beautiful the words in this are, the flow is as smooth as silk, the phrasing perfect, and the timing is absolutely spot on.
