The Saga Of Larry C And the "Big Game"("Deer") |

T'was in the spring of two thousand and two, Larry C gambled on bagging big game, threw caution to wind, said of you know who, "Your picture looks different, it's not the same!" Many have tried to depose the old "Deer", that consummate artist, master of ink. "I'll take a shot, I've got nothing to fear." (in his nievity Larry did think.) Comments were made about "Deers'" age and such, (not for the first time, nor for the last) something was mentioned of needing a crutch, and in that moment were Larrys' dice cast. Odds on the favorite, the house made the book, no even money was offered at all. Both ways when crossing old "Deers" path should look. (Lady Luck help you you're bound for a fall.) Once in my youth I did foolishly dream, to set my sights on the king of the house. Logic prevented that mistake it seems. (better a safe Moose than a trampled mouse!) But I digress this is Larry Cs' tale, stay tuned to see if his number comes up. In life's casino there's fish, and there's whales, I'll bet old "Deer" makes short work of this pup! P.S. No offense Larry, but I've seen this game played out before, with predictable results. Best of luck though. Regards, Doc |

Ha Moose, let the games begin and I'm sitting in first row to watch the slaughtering, drinks and popcorn on hand. Great poem! Titia A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... |

Hey, Doc, you got it wrong, my friend! I'm gentle as can be. I never would attack a man For being rude to me. I'm sure some strange phenomonem Caused him to act that way. Perhaps a brick fell on his head And knocked his sense away. He said that he was convalescing And there is a rumor The problem lies up in his brain And folks think it's a tumor! He could have been possessed, you know. Some brains cannot resist Temptations evil spirits cause Without an exorcist. He could have gone to Wendy's Had a burger with some cheese From some cow born in England With that darn mad cow disease. I'm sure there was a reason And I'm not one to complain. I'll simply feel sorry for A man who's gone insane.... (of course, if you check out The Story of Larry C on page 2 you will find that I did have a tiny bit to say ) Thanks, Doc!! |
