Eggs Clumped like pearls Clinging to reeds in the pond Packages of life Tadpoles Tiny thrashing tails Look for them with jar in hand To grow your own frog Lily pads Green floating condos Sun bathing with out a care Snacking on bugs Warts It's a cruel mistake Falsely fousted on innocent frogs Duh! toads give you warts! Croaking Frogs sing, yes they do Not pleasing to human ear Though most she frogs swoon Big fish and birds I admit I eat insects The I guess it,s only fair I am also food Legs My pride and joy But to be reduced to this Eaten by gourmets paladin [This message has been edited by paladin (04-29-2002 06:40 PM).] |

I really enjoyed that. My favorite line was about growing a frog. |

With all little kids out there catching springtime tadpoles, I will share this poem! Have a jar myself right now with about 2 dozen! This is cute! |
