The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-04-09 01:45 PM

I'd like to think it could be true
that fairies dance under the stars
that angels do watch over us
and unicorns fly near and far.

I want to dream and have it real
as magic pours down from full moon
and rose quartz really does hold love
My prince charming is coming soon.

I peek behind the curtains drawn
and see a glowing crystal ball
perhaps Sir Lancelot did live
and love was not his final fall.

Brave Robin and Maid Marion
beat out the odds, and so can I
a magic genie calls to me
his lamp awaits for me to try.

In legends, myths, I see true hope
my way to live and laugh and cope.

perhaps the sun is he
the prince you seek
or the moon
or the wind

wear them with your woman
and hear them whisper of
tomorrow

catalinamoon,

How nice it is to get carried off to the land of romance.  As long as it lives in our hearts it will always be real. Wonderful write.

Hugs,

Sandra~ I find echos of my thoughts in every word you've written here...but I never could have said it so beautifully.  Into my library this goes, to remind me to believe.

hugs,
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

She said burn ... together.
