I used to have a moustache to strain my soup as I slurped it down, grandma stared..oops; as a kid I'd refuse to chew food, just gobbled it down when hiccups arose, that made family members frown. Then I learned the essence of the table game eat properly or I'll bring myself to shame; one doesn't talk with a mouthful of food observing how another swallows is likewise rude. I excuse myself when I leave the table and help with the dishes when I am able at dinner, have I become a golden son? all my bad table habits have come undone. |

made me laugh, thinking of my younger brother who always insisted he had to belch in order to have room for more food... *s M |

Martin darling boy this is as always perfect, the flow and the rhyme absolutely excellent. For some unknown reason this reminded me of my son, Paul, who now that he’s an adult refuses to believe any of the things he got up to as a child. He used to eat so fast the no sooner had I finished saying Paul dinner is…. Than he would have dashed in, said grace, eaten and left. Now that really was fast food. Brilliant writing darling boy, absolutely brilliant As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

(giggles in delight) Awwwwwww, I think we can all be guilty of some kind of bad table manner every now and then, sweet friend, hey, why do they ask you to put your napkin on your lap anyway? LOL! This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Noah, and why does the Queen turn to one side only to talk.. manners of some sort or another, if she gets around to you make sure you're on the left Marsha, I guess we've all had a bad manner or two. You look like your early twenties in the picture and you have an adult son? |

Maureen, I swallow gas inadvertantly, and that can keep the diaphram from lowering properly so you might feel shortness of breath, but don't think belching is going to create more stomach room..hehe |
