Thanks Paladin for the inspiration In from front door, dropped on the front couch Meatball listened to his girl's father...ouch; Lucy would square off with neighbour Ethyl in a bout Antics would see her divide balcony space with clout, A horse that talked, through the family window, stared Story of Arnold the pig, who jumped on his own chair family of freaks with a hand that came out from a box And a friendly giant monster who scared gents as he talked. Years have also brought across the marooned ship and its funny crew the professor would plan an a scheme for a quick rescue have their classic voices still ringing in my ears as Ginger prodded Gilligan to face the captain with no fear. The single career woman went in out with style Mary brought aboard her female friends with fire; but the one I hold dear was Father Knows Best Robert took care of his kids, comedy did the rest. (big hugggsssssss) This is delightful, sweet friend, it's a shame I could have never gotten to live these times and see all these wonderful shows when TV was innocent, the only show I've gotten to see reruns of is Gilligans Island! (sigh) This is a wonderful view of early American broadcasting, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Noah, TV was innocent back then..it's never been guilty?!..there has always been competition for sponsors and producers had to fight for television time much like today |

I think about all the old sitcoms too..they made me laugh..as do only a few today...I am not sure if I lack a sense of humor or if they are not funny. Thanks M |

Hi Maureen, I think the older ones had a lot of class that I don't see too much in the newer variety but tastes change as you get older [This message has been edited by ecrivan (04-28-2002 06:43 PM).] |

I think of my themes as a packet of poem seeds.I sow them in the rich creative soil of passions and hope for a few to grow into fully grown poems. This on blossemed nicly. paladin |

Hello Paladin, your's is a very generous statement, seeing your poetic notes, if I can call that...I know I have a way with words to bring certain periods back to life..and they have always been alive in us |
