Yes, 1.5 is here and I'm very happy with one particular feature. Pages that are intended to open in a new window can now be diverted to a new tab, which I very much prefer.

For example: PiPtalk's Today's Topics. I click on a topic and a new window opens. Since I ticked the new option, it now opens in a new tab. Absolutely lovely!

You could have been doing that all along with the Tabbrowser Preferences extension.

Heh...that's because I don't delve, and on dialup just lack the patience to wait for plugin pages to load. *chuckle* Firefox made it easier for the slackers among their flock.

Very nice tweak guide for Firefox 1.5. Sure it's set up primarily for XP, but the few adjustments I made to about:config (after backing up my application data), have so far made me even happier with Firefox, despite the fact that WinME is on this system I'm currently using.

Alicat is my dial-up tech guy. Solutions for us mere phone peasants that a dolt like me can understand are hard to come by.

Ohhhhh, I am loving Firefox way better than Internet Explorer. Still fiddling but getting the hang of it. Like having the full screen all the time now, with my favorites tucked away up there all neat and tidy.
