Your man is my best friend Keep in mind, I already got a man But jealousy Runs potent in your stream Dying it red, Killing all life, Crucifying the possibility Of our future collectively See, as it stands, Our future children Have no chance To play together Because mom would be fine If my name is not mentioned, Ever, But let me ask you, "Why do you hate me?" Maybe you see something in me That you have the potential to be But, you don't lack I've seen your creativity And you posses beauty So perhaps what you think you don't like in me, Is a mere reflection of your insecurity And that my dear Starts from within Stop throwin' those darts at others It's time to repent And I forgive you Even if you refuse to be my friend Because envy is a sickness An evil spirit you can slay With God's hands, We can start a new day Let those brimstones go, And inject cool confidence And let's not block these blessings For our future children And ourselves Do not make the devil smile With your selfishness Sista, I wish you well Marinate on these words And dish out a new flavor Cuz your attitude Is nothing to savor That's what makes you unattractive To my best friend Let me let you in on a little secret The energy you spend hating on me Could be lovin' energy to your man God Bless I'm reluctant to let you read this Would probably cause too much confusion Blinded by your own poison Creating a map to relationship ruins One by one, pieces fall From your castle Crashing to the shores Cuz your weakness makes it fragile If I was your enemy, It would be in your best interest to stay close Because you're leaving your relationship wide open For your man to be given a dose Of that honey dipped passion fruit That's so tantalizing and temptin' I'm not interested in your man But the next woman May take a ride on what you thought was your position I'm not wishing negativity on your relationship I'm just presenting the facts What you put out into the universe Will come back... |

if most people would stop being so focused on what they think they don't have and think others are taking, and focus on what they DO have, they would be MUCH better off! excellently written...and hope it relays your message to the intended just as well! KS |
