somewhere at the edge

As if the cold, grey stone
rose from remaining bone
buried within the earth

Its message to be told
of a life now grown cold
of one's end from its berth

   "Here lies an empty soul
    from a life of giving
    who silenced the Bell's toll
    with death over living

    What's left is what remains
    memories unbroken
    the unbearable pains
    of all thoughts unspoken"

When love or life is lost their is always regret for what should have been done or said. Good one!
