And There It Was...

The right moment, in your eyes.
I saw it, you couldn't deny it,
the spark of yours sent to mine
that traveled until it reached my heart,
the touch of eyes, that made me smile.

That feeling, I can't escape,
whenever I see you,
my breath catches in a hold,
my mind plays out a silent movie
as I talk to myself trying to settle
the butterflies within.

That touch, the one that turned my head,
lifting my face to yours, a kiss in the want,
so tempting, and knowing it was time,
(my time) to feel again,
the love I had been missing.
