Your name is A whispered prayer, A sweet song that plays Within my heart... A divine dance within Each breath I take... And you, yourself- With Or without Your name... You are the answer, The gentle harmony singing Eternally within my soul, The ecstatic movement Of the sweetest joy. I speak your name In breathy tones, So sensual to feel The sounds of you Caressed by my lips, Savoring slowly The taste of your name... Recalling the beauty Of your skin, Your blue sky eyes Calling love to me... I desire so much to Speak your name, As I do in fervent prayer Every moment of my life... And find you are there, Reaching out your hand To reawaken me with your touch... …your kiss... …your smile. Your name is to me A whispered prayer... and you, You are the answer. |
