poetry is just
lines of words wrapped in a riddle
it can be simple or tasking
waiting for the right person to come along asking are these truths or lies
will it be liked or despised
should I even try
do I have the will to risk catching the thrill of some one drinking in my thoughts as it rolls off of their tongues when read
will they love my touch and pout if not given enough or simply read my words then move on to another poets attempt to put forth their soul
for others to judge
these things I will never know unless tried
so again I write
today
tomorrow
and the next night

Some day this Rogue will get it right

(smiles) Yes, yes, and you always give such a valiant effort! (big hugggsssssss) I think that is the real meaning of poetry; to grow every write and understand and learn more each time in finding the best approach to answering the riddle, to inspiring another, to feel rewarded for what your own heart wrote! This is marvelous, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, this has my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Thomas, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Just keep on writing--for yourself! If someone who reads your poetry enjoys and understands it, that is a bonus!

P.S. I enjoy reading your musings!

Warm hugs,

Must all poetry be truth?
Must it be a soul-wrenching cry?
Should it be? I so no. Poetry is whatever
we form it to be...larger than life
or life itself.

Nice ponderings, Thomas. *s

Tis true, and all we can do.
This gets my vote.
