The light of night is sightless sounds The beat petite of sweet heart pounds Footfalls dread calls down halls empty Pillows with shadows from windows scary Door opens slowly end thought bend to fear Nothing yet something through door brings near In darkest night with fast heartbeat Her bed not empty her cat now is there. Gloom Something to think upon not meant to be particularly good poetry just words scattered upon the blue pages |

Professor, This is wonderful word play. Read it several times. Loved every line. Thank you. I almost missed this as I was just going out my door, thought I'd take a quick peek and read a poem or two. Such talent! Smiling here. Thanks again, With warmest regards, Pat ![]() ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

You "scatter words" with the best of Pip's poets, dear Professor! Warm hugs, EA |
