The sizzle of the drizzle left my windows Before the sun had begun to rescind the shadows Sleepless the night with eyes full of sand With rubber bone knees I’ll still stand And walk the streets wet with the dawn I keep a pace that moves me ever on Till I find a bench to collapse onto Flooded by droplets more than few And look out with crusty red eyes Watching as the seagull flies Merely inches over the bay And is quickly away. The day’s begun And insomnia won. Gloom |

Ah, you too? I may need a nap before noon...something must be in the air... Good tired morning, Professor... I hope the insomnia leaves...soon... Karilea - If I whisper, will you listen?... |

Much enjoyed these random thoughts from a fellow insomniac!! As a professional musician, I have spent many a morning watching the seagulls fly after a sleepless night!! Great write!! Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ |
