Dimming down All the windows on the ground Curtains drawn. Fluttering On and off without a sound Room to room Light and gloom Restless till darkness is found Whispering. Although the lights glow not Memory is not forgot Sight diminished in the rain Illuminating with pain. Grimace face Splashed with water chilling On the floor Cold once more On gray slate amply spilling Wet the place. Dark so near Yet still I see in dimness Him I fear Eyes see eyes Momentarily brightness Car goes passed With a flash Ending cover of darkness In surprise. Gloom |
