I was with her that day Holding her, loving her Becoming drunk in her beauty Her love for me and my love for her Binding us two as one And in the midst of our eternal day I heard those three words I longed not to hear Not then, not ever As we rode the crest On Passion's wave I heard that phrase My blood went chill... "Honey, I'm home..." When the morning cries and you don't know why... |
