She's not happy You can see it in her eyes A hidden pain is tucked behind a lonesome tear He's there to help her With love in his heart But she's blocked by walls abandoned by fear Her world feels empty Her heart feels cold His love is blinded by past hurt The closer he gets The faster she runs Away from everything she's needing He feels like giving up As he sees her fade away He's hurt by her pain And discouraged by her fear The faster she runs The farther he gets The farther he gets The harder it will be for her to find the light He walks As she runs Hoping she'll lose her fear along the way [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (04-12-2003 10:48 PM).] |
