Once again I find myself standing on the edge Afraid to look down...Afraid to look back The chasm that spreads out before me With it's depths invaded by the Darkness That light cannot pierce I strain my eyes to see what lies within Only to loose sight of the reality That sight is indeed not possible Unless I am willing to take the leap Not one of faith...But one of fear It is to be only one small step for mankind For me it is a freefall that I cannot avoid Whatever waits for me within the Darkness It is now Time for me to meet The past has cashed its ticket for Home The future is to be my companion Until I find myself again standing here Alone standing into the Depths When the morning cries and you don't know why... ...and thankfully the light does penetrate the darkness, yet once again. Life does seem to have its cycles of Light and Darkness. It is important for us all to realize that the darkest hours come before the dawn and that the sun will rise again. Love & Light, Earth Angel |

You've got my vote sire! Such a wonderful write! Thanks for sharing! “Death, so called, is a thing which makes men weep, and yet a third of life is passed in sleep.” -Lord Byron |

I find myself totally overwhelmed in Open forum and so I missed all these touching writes of yours. I apologise for that but my vote now will bump you. |
