i can't stop hiding

Once again I traveled home
and again I went to sleep
Asking why must I be so all alone
feeling this pain of love so deep

Last night as clouds drew high
I lay awake and wondered why
Why do reasons however true
refuse my need to be with you

In my dreams I reached for you
to find an empty side
Like my bed my life a void
and in my heart I died

When at night I travel home
my heart begins to weep
My destination loneliness
my love for you so deep

I know four seasons are not so long
a year is all they make
Yet to live them without you beside me
may be more than I can take

So heart touching. Unless I am reading this wrong, which is my norm, it sounds like a separation of only a year and then your love will be back?

If that is what you meant as four seasons....then, though sad and lonely, at least there will be a reunion.

Some of us feel this way, and there will never be a union, let alone a reunion.

Good poem, made me think and definitely feel.
