standing on a shadow's lace

Secrets

secrets are the place
where tenderness rides
on the cusp of
snowflakes as they glide
a sparkling dust
that flows on light
that covers and caresses
blankets of night
tune carried on
the breath in front of me
a melody so thick
but you can not see
