Someone Like Thee

'Tis a day of quiet, silence,
empty spaces filled with Thee.
While all around I walk the distance,
though it grows from start of We.

Holding on to "neverhad"
a Neverland of want and need.
'Tis a day of contemplation,
empty silence surrounding me.

This Lady, I, hast failed to meet Thee,
expectations never gained.
Seeking always to hear thy whispers
in words of loving, thought detained.

I dreamt of Thee to lift me up
and tempt the morrow to see me through.
Yet in the hiding, always secrets
'til the next of time brings you.

Shall I wait in arms of wishes,
hopes and dreams to ponder such?
Will the day befall me ever
with hands of longing, thine in touch?

A knight in shining armor, need not.
All is just, in want to be
close enough to feel the eye's grace
in nimbleness, someone like Thee.

To Thine heart, mine own be caught,
laid beneath the northern star.
Shining moments reminiscing,
bringing distance less than far.

'Tis a day of quiet, silence,
empty spaces filled with Thee.
In memory, I walk the narrow
hand in hand, mine feel of We.

Oh I just had to bring her back even if for a day or so

Now if only that Knight of mine would ever
show up and bestow some words of hope...
