Each morning I rebound,
the drumming as before.
Routine never changes
but this mind just scrambles more.

I lay there in decision
how to remove the rhythms' sound.
Instead my thoughts go here and there,
adding to the pound.

I wish I had directors,
giving me the shove,
pushing me to what comes next
forgetting past, thereof.

I wish that come each morning
I'd feel the fresh of day
and welcome each, the breath of new
to dance the time away.

Instead I have this pounding of
words that want to play,
employing thoughts to entertain
to amuse myself in say.

And now I am receding, or
at least the poundings' gone,
a temporary reprieve of
my yesterdays' withdrawn.
M

I saw the title to this and had to read...

I've been in the midst of daily migraines for the past two weeks - I thought I got rid of them years ago, but they are back with a vengence...

Anywho... I saw the title, had to read, and am glad I did.  Well done.

Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn.

thank you lttlewing, ericc and JP.

I am a very intense being and stress headaches are very normal for me...or if I sleep wrong, or if the weather changes, but I have no allergies as all of last years testing proved after ten years of allergy medicine prescribed to me.

Sometimes a wrong diagnosis can end up giving you the need for the medicine after all...sort of like being addicted. Your body expects to need the medicine so it produces the ache for you...oh well, maybe it will rain and then I will feel better *s.

Thank you all
M

I sure hope you are feeling better, now. The weather is rainy here, too.
