~*~ Laughter is the medicine That tastes real fine, It smoothes the rough edges Like a well-aged wine. Laughter is a happy thing, It takes away the sad, It takes away the hurt and pain And takes away the mad. Laughter is a gift we give To self and one another, It fills our hearts with fun and joy, It's a feeling like none other. Laughter is so lyrical It's music to our ears, It brings a smile to one's face And wipes away the tears.  (smiles) Yay, and not only is it free but laughter is the best medicine and if we find our laughing place like the Disney song then we will make the world colorful! Linda, This is wonderful and so true. I am one of those who the more serious the situation the more provoked I am to laugh or find humor. What a blessing, my best friend and my children understand and do the same. I remember once when son was quite young and he and sister wrestling in living room and bumped into bookcase and knocked over and broke off the head of a very cherished statue of mine, and deadpan exclaimed: "Ut oh, heads will roll"....cracking up his sister, and admittedly, me, too... This is a wonderful reminder to find joy in living, regardless of what is happening, so blessed, are we, by so much we take for granted. It's easy making laughter, I try to all day long, To me it is so worthwhile, To make somebody smile.
