deeds are open to scrutiny, cry the poems in the sacred books mast your torment, resound the pages will equanimity find you bereft- subjugated..to disavow... near or far, the inopportune arrows pointing to blissful moments will not beget you the passage- truant or truly devout; one must decide.. **** **** **** ..circa 2003..Copyright 2003 Spiros Zafiris ..poem archived in several other sites ..channeled; from spirit, Ram; through Spiros |

So true this is, Spiros... beside me are books of Palgrave and Tennyson... at home I have several more from the 1800's and they speak to all things, all men, and humanity's actions - inactions - and reactions. One would think - we would learn - sometimes I wonder, that we seem not to learn, may be the reason why we have biographers, historians, and poets... |

Spiros, I thought you were speaking of religious books, such as the Bible, for one. I agree wholeheartedly with your last line. Enjoyed this thinking piece, greatly. Hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
