Listening to every heart

Easy?
Go cast first stone ~
“Why are you doing this?”
Pronouncements are never painless
Leaders, damned if they do, damned if they don’t
Their hides, backsides, are not that thick
Knowing red-blue blood runs
You believe it’s
Easy?

Very impressive. No, it is not easy! But then they have their court to advise and comfort them in their decisions ... because probably, sadly they have lost the capacity to listen to their hearts, or to SEE with their hearts. Power changes people more than anything else.
That's the reason why we must - at least try - to LOVE them, not to HATE them. It will do good.
Appreciated!
Hugs. Margherita

Karilea - wonderful Rictameter. No, it is NOT easy....this world is so full of turmoil...one doesn't know which way to turn anymore. I pray we take the proper turn...to peace. hugs, Chris

Indeed, it's so easy to be the armchair analyst and criticise in the midst of comfortable ignorance...i don't envy President Bush and his allies

It's never easy being the one that people look to for guidance, leadership, etc.  It takes a strong man/woman to do so, but that doesn't mean that the person is infallible, unhuman, or without emotion.  We tend to think that people we look up to should be perfect...and we get upset when we feel they've failed that perception.

Great job and neat way to put it...

Were it to be my luck
to classify your work
I'd say "liquid smoothness"
For the care you never shirk.
