I won’t let this sun go down on me
But everytime you say goodbye
It shakes me right to the core
And I feel so hollow
So alone

I don’t know why right now
I don’t seem to cope without you
When before when I didn’t even know you
Everything was always fine
No more

I can’t seem to shake away
My thoughts of you
They haunt my every moment
My every move
And you’re with me
But in a way I can’t relate
I can’t be with you

And you are the sun that rose so high
Over my shadowy existence
But please don’t deprive me of your light
I’m blinded but a sun that’s hidden
Behind my many clouds

It seems so distorted
Like the clouds are the wrong shape
Because they don’t fit my dream
Not anymore
Now I’ve built it around you
Instead of without you

It’s destiny which will take me through
With or without you
But you know what I want it to do
Take me away from here
And back down to wherever I was
With you.
