Disappointment I can feel the dread starting Deep down in my chest Tears preparing to fall This is not what I thought How can I be lonely When the one I love Is here by my side? Why can’t I just be happy Count my blessings and Let the rest fall away Why just once can’t I live Without disappointment. |
