And so twilight has come at last, The night to follow soon The glory of the day has passed (The bright sunshine of noon) The daylight soon shall take a bow, And birds too take their rest The stars begin to twinkle now, Like sequins on nights vest And as we watch the moon arise, Her nightly task to start The beauty of her silvery eyes Would warm the coldest heart Ah, here she is, in light adorned And with a ghostly smile The darkness of the new night scorned She starts her dance in style A slow dance now, she has no need To hurry on her way Though her time is short indeed, And soon will come the day And with daylight, she will retreat As in the eastern sky, The sun will once more take his seat And night will once more die. |

I like. "I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation." |
