Love is a wondrous feeling Evoking intense emotions Filling one’s heart with happiness Shedding tears of joy Sharing everything life has to offer Love is a hunger For affection and attention Intimate vulnerability Yet trusting at all levels Baring our souls Leaving nothing hidden Love is touching Heart to heart Soul to soul Whispering thoughts Through each others eyes Without uttering a single word Love is a melody Sweet and serene A blanket of notes Covering us as we dance Holding each other close Never to let go Love is to life Like sunshine to a flower It blooms with each new day Its fragrance enveloping us Gentle yet powerful So is my love for you |
