a girl of seventeen becomes a daydream,
in seven sweeping currents of the night,
a leaden lamp surrenders to the morning,
extinguishing an artificial life.

a ribbon raised in hope of trains departing,
a soft goodbye to smiles that wish me well,
a tender sky now dappled off the easel
restores this love as faithful new farewell.

a turning-point for abstract shapes in earnest
attachment to the jealous hold of one,
embracing all though ancient romance falters
and sending sorrow arrowed to the sun

An enjoyable read, nice imagery here.
