First Love Pursuit of youthful want Love found too soon Heart too new to know It could fall so hard Infatuated ache will wane Not wanting it to escape Don’t leave so far Young love seems so repairable Distance is only voices away Confused maturity makes scarred hearts Careless acid advice Emotional bottle of silk Handful of rose petals in the wind Confused desires, impossible grasp I’m losing you I love you Life’s lessons exposed Regretful jaded past Opaque future You’re someone else’s tenderness Roulette wheel of love Rare diamond found again Harder fall I will never forget you |

I have to say, this is the first poem I ever wrote in my life. I actually hated poetry until I couldnt get this feeling out of my head for years and I just expressed it through these words. I found it very therapeutic. It may very well be the first and last poem I ever write, because it honestly is hard for me to express myself in such ways. Thanks for the respones. |
