Oh, reclined within this golden pouring stream
Finest points to full of rivers currents beam
In amorous plays upon the bodice of the night
Tantalized in fingers gold and warm delight

Oh, the warm that pools upon the pillow seam
Sweets, so fragile licked of silken trails stream
Warm in waves across the velvet lips of night
Honey, dripped on ripples made of heaven’s light

By night another taste of harmony in dreams
Seductive sways the light bent softly beams
Taken, again and again as the edges sweetly spills
Oh, what wonder savors so, to full-spent golden thrills

This one took away my breath. And it sure ain't because of the "moon."

The color is absolutely perfect for the poem... unfortunately, it's hell on aging eyes! LOL But words such as these are more than worth highlighting to see more clearly... this is beautiful! *S*

Kathleen, this was utterly heavenly. I like this style of writing, don't know what it's called and can't seem to do it myself, but brava to you.

Beautiful. Its been a little while since I've ready any of your work. WHAT WAS I thinking?

You could hurt me with your bare hands. You could hurt me using the sharp edge of what you say. JEWEL
