I know I wasn’t the first one
You had love in your past before me
I wanted you ever so close
My heart is locked yet you have the key

Please unlock my heart you see before you
Please allow me your love
I have always wanted you from across the way
Forever in my heart I want you to stay

I know that its hard on you to look at me
The way I look at you
I know that you might never love me
As much as my love for you is true.

There is burning desire deep within me
I am yearning for you love that doesn’t seem to be there
I am never afraid to look to you for hope
I’m just wanting you be close to me,  here

I’m dreaming of the day you tell me
That I’m girl for you
I’m wanting you to hold me near
Saying that your love for me is true

I cant believe its so hard on me
Watching myself ignore my one true love
I just want to show you how much I care for you
But your with another girl which is making me so blue

As day fades to night, and night turns back into day
I feel that today’s the day that you will tell me what you want to say
That you love me with all your heart and soul
And that forever together we will be one day.

ah, young love...I remember it...good write, thanks for reminding me what it's about.

just one thing I noticed...it is sort of distracting to read slang, like "b4", in such a good write...in my opinion, it would read smoother if you wrote out "before".
