Luminous Broodings You see before you a star, Born of the Heaven’s tears; I shine like a faceted vision As diamonds falling from the sky-- Their sharpness stab as daggers, Cutting away the flesh of reality, Canvassing the bottom of Armageddon With the blood and skin of saints-- Hundreds and thousands of lost souls Now sprint across softened ground Leaving deep imprints into the minds of saviors; Saviors who carry the prayers of the future Upon their hardened backs, Finding strength in bleeding hearts— Splashing in puddles of blood Slipping head first into oblivion, Drowning into the faith of the wicked; Dreams, now flow slowly downstream Before the refreshing coolness of the dark Awakens the moment; Eyes look upward to salvation Watching the twinkling lights paint the sky iridescence; You see before you a star Born of the Heaven’s tears I shine not unlike a vision Disappearing only when the Sun returns And I am driven into the desert of despair Burning slowly and quietly Into the depths of a resurrection.
