Flame Eternal

You are a perfect picture,
Pastel shade of pink,
and black,
Auburn hair, set in gentle curves,
Your eyes meet mine,
for an instant
we are lost in one another,
My heart beats faster,
that hint of humor,
perched upon your lips,
The pride swells within me,
I give a lazy wave..
then mouth the words
“Thank you“,
But it doesn’t seem enough,
I am transfixed by you
beside me,
You turn, framed by sunlight,
Radiant,
and so we sweep,
carefree,
into Dealey Plaza....

Olias.

You just sent me back several decades Olias...
and leave me wondering how different it could have been...

Just last Thursday I had a silent reminder of the various forms that Camelot has taken in my life...

this was one of them...

bless you for coming home!  Now, Sir, about Reflections...have you submitted one for the book and I just haven't found it yet?  Hmmmm????

Karilea - If I whisper, will you listen?...

Hello, Thanks for your reply, I agree the world may have been very different I think many people lost alot of hope on that day.
As far as the book  goes, I havent submitted anything, I'm not firing on all cylinders at the moment, my writing is not up to par, but who knows practise makes perfect. Thanks once again.

Regards to everyone, Take care.

Olias.
