My spirit is young and learning There are so many things for which my soul is yearning The old ways of doing things People lived in peace and waited for what the earth brings Love was prevalent And most troubles were deemed irrelevant If I push on through this day Standing up for my beliefs, leaving my fears at bay I’ll make a statement and let my soft voice be heard I’ll tell the world with just one word It’ll ring through the streets And new people I am sure to meet Will join me to live and love Making peace with stars to guide us from up above |
