Unfinished thoughts were about in the air. It was out there inthe desert that I saw the clouds hanging low. Darkness congregating. Then vanishing. Gray, gray landscape - Dry as the tongue which would speak to the sun and cold as the corridors of the mind. This place was certainly born here tonight. The moon says so and the stars refrain. But it is the ground which listens and waits for the coming footsteps. And it is yet the ground which will move here tonight. Oh stars - If I would have known on the day I was born I certainly would have died that day. Oh moon - It would be fine to be as realistic as something very old to shine as one so young. Oh ground - I will lie here and wait with you. Perhaps sleep. Perhaps dream. |

First know, the word "perhaps" is very special to me and a few of my poet friends... second, please know... this is a very good write. Thank you, edh... |
