Come The Mourning (Baghdad)

In Baghdad tonight
ten thousand soldiers
hoped that war was
just an illusion.
But they knew that
come the morning
they would fight
and bring this war
to it's logical
conclusion.
In their hearts
many wished that
they could be in
other vocations.
In the valley of freedom.
In the arms of loved ones.
In a more peaceful
location.

(tears fall down my cheeks) I too sympathize ever so much with the civilians of Iraq, dearest friend, I never wanted this ridiculous war to begin with and now that our soldiers are down there I must support them but moreover I will pray for the citizens! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!
