Not Impressed By Song

at times words hurt
they rush us carelessly
through razor like teeth
thinly shredding skin
swiftly grating and torturing
an already scarred heart
how do you measure
the hierarchy of penetration
between paper cut
and profound surgical skill
and how can
you disregard rare
flesh colored wine
or is it you are
impressed only by
bursting hemorrhage
as you find necessity
in submissions endurance
I find I tire quickly as of late
and hear no notes
in your song of lament

Helen - THIS is awesome!

how do you measure
the hierarchy of penetration
between paper cut
and profound surgical skill

couldness can they be measured?  Sometimes the papercut leaves a deeper scar than the surgery . . . very nice xxoo
