I fear I suffer the same
as fallow ground, unable
         with any stable,
         sense of growth
to produce something worth
         feeding a mind.

Your mind is fertile--never to be left fallow...

Sue, it's nice to know this piece was good for something, it was a write of frustration. You know what they say, "One poet's frustration, is another poet's inspiration".

Okay, that's not what they say, I made that up.

Thanks for reading dear poetess.

Naw... *S* There may be times when it seems the seeds will never sprout... but your fine harvest is worth waiting for... and continues to nourish us all. *S*

Oh Anne,

Are you kidding? I could throw you twenty words and you could make a terrific poem from them. I enjoy your talent and so glad you share it with us.

Thank you, Hugs, Pat

Claire, yes you did, and thank you for reminding me.

I think that is what is wrong, you borrowed her and you didn't give her back, did you?

Pat, thank you dear lady. But don't throw them just now, I might drop some and come up with a half baked effort.

WhiteRose...I think we have all felt this way at times...I know I have.  This poem did not sprout from fallow ground!  Hugs!

I think they've said it all. I just want to add: "You can't be serious!" Oh that my mind was that fallow...
