Here i am alone again
two-step-poetry
blue chalk dust
upon my hands
there is
a certain
symmetry
this
it IS
a life's ballet
as the pink
of points
turn gray
from the weary
of the show
dinner circuit
in L.A.
they didn't hear
a word I wrote--
the croutons
claimed the stage
of ear
asking for another
glass--
I thought refills were free...

Forks in scrape
upon the plate
and muffled chuckles
through linen
folded cotten
to the lips
to prove they are
such "gentlemen"--
quotes
appropriate.

I stayed the night
and greeted sun
standing
as my arms are stretched
opened palms
to capture all...
the very-ness
of most of me
oh-pretend
an end to squall
dancing in the mysteries--

the wind blew our sheets dry.

serenity - how did this deep write go unnoticed? I never know which emotion to expect in your gifts to us. I am never disappointed. Chris

K - I did this as I read:

as my arms are stretched
opened palms
to capture all...

always a theater . . .  as always leaving me . . . in awe  xxoo
