A mass of land between two oceans

Rat’s Feet

A deserted Siberian
Cactus Land
This is the dead land
and sergei; alone
is departed in the eggshells

White melting wax
entranced white womb of the eye
is fertile, she
desperate actions for her
pianists writing odes and bank notes to

a prostitute’s air
cut the nostril
and hung itself on the frontal lobes

pressing, waiting for the electric fuzz to begin
strike the ivory
there's the spark O!
Me only I am O!
ah, all greeny dewy stars stars falling
bleeding into the air
making unsure love of beauty
only to himself

caressing the sin on earth.
On dead kings they danced

Fear not,
The mortician comes shortly

sergei; alone
hums to himself
the perfect corpse

Two walls and
between them; nothing
Ah, there it is
Void
his music sheets are abandoned houses

On the deserted Siberia
Dead kings make their procession
waiting for Minos’ tail
and sergei; alone
watches the names he knows

sergei knows Prometheus
Prometheus knows the world

The Bread lines continue and
sergei; alone
watches the names he knows
marching over broken glass.

This was originally going to be a series but I decided to salvage the best lines and combine them instead.  Sergei Rachmaninov is a Russian born pianist and composer around the early 1900s.

"I should have been a pair of ragged claws/ Scuttling over the floors of silent seas"-T.S. Eliot
