The light that shone in my heart
The one who I have feelings for
That I have tried so hard to part
The harder I try, I pine for you more

I will be here for you
For eternity and after that
I will love you forever, you know its true

I dream of being in your hold
And staying with you, together growing old
If you loved me too
I would never leave your side
I would stay through the good and the bad
Through the happy and the sad

I would be there
Year after year
Waiting to hear
Those three words
Said with meaning
In total honesty
A feeling that we could share for eternity

But this wont happen
I am a friend to you
But you are so much more to me
If only you could truly see
What I am thinking and how I feel
You wouldnt believe it is all real

I love you
And will do forever
For you are the light in my heart
The one who brightens my world
