When War Takes Residence

when the mirror
reflects not
the pallor of your face,
if it is uncertain
whether your heart is black or white,
tender or stony,
then turn,
listen,
pray for a washing,
a purification,
an eye-opening
clarity of view

look to the
Master,
the hand of the Spirit,
and let your heart be soothed,
cleansed and made new

oh man I LOVED this!!!! Such short lines hold such deep, thought provoking statements. This is absolutely great!

reminds me of the line in the beatles revolution...better free your mind instead.Although I'm not your conventional christian it does bring to mind a scripture i read stating God is the authour of peace not confussion.Actually brings to mind lots of things i needed to remember...enjoyed.
