In Prayer for You

O, Soldier,
as you stand, kneel
or crawl
intent on victory,
may you raise your arms in praise
as you raise your arms
to defray
the agony of the oppressed.

O, Sailor,
as you ride upon
the sea,
may you not be
at sea,
but be guided,
ever true,
by the Lighthouse
that's for you.

And, you, oh pilot in the air,
be in His perfect care,
as you carry out
comannds
you've been given.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
