Of Rhyme and Time

There are rhymes and there are rhymes.
There are times and there are times.
Thoughts that dash in cresting waves
And those that crash in sandy graves.

There’s no preserver where I swim
You stay or drown upon a whim
You laugh or cry upon a line
Or hang forever from the vine.

It is a search in shadows thin
With breezes dancing on your skin
Feelings swaying on the air
Hits you when you’re least aware.

Euphoria rides you on a phrase
Blinds you in a daring daze.
Gives you wings to soar on high
For an instant you can fly.

Intoxicating I confess
The aphrodisiac success

There are rhymes and then there are SY-guy rhymes ...
and yours are the rhymes divine of sands of time.
Trust me when I say they are so sweetly sublime ...
I should know -- my library full makes them mine all mine.

JM,
Randy wants you to know as soon as spring is in the air he will fly there.
Take you back to the ocean shore
Find you shells to explore
And let you shallow in the briney air.

Goood mooorning, Mr. T.!

And how did we sleep last night?...Quite, well I trust!---another successful and intoxicating night of soaring on high, I see!
I would love to experience such a sense of euphoria with my own turn of phrases whilst I slept!

Thank you for yet another delightfully delicious treat to start my day!

Peace & Love,
Linda

Actually, I was revisiting a recurring dream, once, and I thought I woke up and started writing it out in rhyme. Then I ACTUALLY woke up, and I was upset that I couldn't remember the dream anymore.

I love the fine timing
of really good rhyming
of stanza or sonnet
from top of my bonnet
Keep sharing your writing
It's just so inviting
And I'll keep on scribbling
with hope no one's quibbling.

Alway enjoy your work; it is a pleasure to read!!  Ken

The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
