These just seem to flow from your heart with such ease. Very nicely done. |

I have enjoyed of these two you have done. I'll have to think about that. (I'm afraid to wander too far from rhyme and meter...ssshhhhhh!) Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

(big hugggssssss) Oh Ethel, this is so very heartaching, sweet friend, I don't like silence either as it can be so deafening and I wish for your heart to always be spoken back to with love and comfort! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! SimplyGold, This is the form that's in Nan's Poetry Workshop Forum for March. As far as I know they're mainly syllable count....unlike the cinquain and haiku. The rictameter has 9 lines, with the first and last line being the same two syllables (word or words). The syllable count is: 1st line 2 syllables 2nd line 4 3rd line 6 4th line 8 5th line 10 6th line 8 7th line 6 8th line 4 9th line 2 syllables I hope this helps. Heart Hugs, Ethel |
