Looking For Pretty

At first I believed
that you loved me.
Later I started to
believe that it was
only about money.

I wanted to believe
we were about love
but I had to
accept the truth.

I was looking for pretty.
But pretty never is
where love fails
to live.

(smiles) Yep, because the pretty love is the enduring love and can never be found on the outside, pretty is inside all the time even if someone is beautiful on the outside! (big huggggssssss) This is delightful, sweet friend, yay, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

There's such an undercurrent of sadness is so much of your work James.

But there is no victim here, I like that the subject accepts responsiblity for his own part of a failed relationship.
