Render into Another Language

The rain is silent against this roof,
quelled by the fluff between walls,
and children running
down
halls.

It takes stepping outside
and a closed door behind
to hear the symphony –
imperfect, offbeat tempos,
octaves both higher
and lower than
Maria Callas.

Inside thin ribbons
between air and water,
a soft message refrains.

Shhhh

Corinne:

"Inside thin ribbons

Shhhh"

A peaceful easy feeling in this...like the song.

Heck yeah. I once sat under a bridge, in a thunderstorm, and recorded that music. But I was disappointed that it seemed to lose something when I tried to play it back. I think it can only be heard properly in person.

This fills the empty space with quiet sounds
and leaves a song in my heart.

So nice Corinne~

Lovely. I love the rain, the peace outside. Nicely done.
