It was hard to watch. I tried to drive the crow away by throwing rocks at it, but it just dodged and stayed there.... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Ed, this is a very strong write. You know that I love the form, too. And, putting it on to the left instead of centering it really worked on this one. "Love makes the world go around" |

Ratleader, I once had to watch two dogs tear apart a poor little kitten. They were both too big for me to make any impression on them whatsoever. They ignored my threats, the stones I threw, and even the threat of the broom I clobbered both of them with. It was horrifying, and unfortunately the natural course of things in the animal world. Cruel and heartless it seems, unable to be understood by us humans, but nature all the same. I'll never forget that poor kittens horrible cries. I'm sure this was very difficult for you to witness, and to write about. |

i really enjoyed this--in particular the imagery. the only people for me are the mad ones-mad to live, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at once--jack kerouac |

Hello Ed I was reminded of a Stephen King book called "The Stand" when I read this. Black crows played a significant part in the book and were just as you described. Take care.......Sue I am in motion |
